Shrinky Things Upcyling Workshop

The Shrinky Things Creation Workshop is a fun, hands-on upcycling session where participants transform discarded #6 plastic (polystyrene) into unique, personalized accessories. The workshop includes an education briefing, and guided steps from designing and cutting to shrinking and assembling finished charms like keychains and earrings etc. With a relaxed, friendly vibe, it encourages creativity, interaction, and awareness about plastic waste and upcycling possibilities.

Objective

Demonstrate a practical and creative method to repurpose plastic waste.
Encourage hands-on learning and craftsmanship in upcycling.
Inspire participants to rethink waste and adopt sustainable habits in daily life.

Expected Deliverables

Guided Workshop

Trained facilitators will provide step-by-step guidance throughout the workshop, enriching the experience with educational insights about upcycling, reuse, and creative design thinking.

Take-Home Products

Each participant produces one upcycled plastic product to take home.
